All of our physicians are fully trained in general surgery and have special training in the medical and surgical
problems of the colon, rectum and anus.
Dr. Richard Billingham obtained
his B.A. degree from Ohio Wesleyan University and his M.D. degree from
the University of Rochester. He began practice in Seattle in 1979, and
is Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of Washington. He is
a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons and
a member of numerous professional societies. Dr. Billingham is a past president of
the American Society of Colon &
Rectal Surgeons.
Dr. Rodney Kratz attended Wabash College where he obtained his B.A. degree in English Literature in 1993 with honors including Phi
Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude. He received his M.D. degree from Indiana University in 1997 with honors including A.O.A. He completed
his General Surgery Residency at Indiana University in 2002. He went on to the Northwest Colon and Rectal Clinic in Seattle, Washington
where he completed a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery in June 2003. Dr. Kratz returns to Northwest Colon and Rectal Clinic after
3 years of practice in Indiana. He specializes in diseases of the colon and rectum with an interest in laparoscopic colon and rectal surgery.
Dr. Kratz is board certified with the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. He is a member of the
American Medical Association, American College of Surgeons, American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery, Northwest Society of Colon and
Rectal Surgeons and the Indiana State Medical Association.
Dr. Paul Charron graduated with a B.S. in biology from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia in 1993.
He later obtained his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in 2002. He recently
finished his general surgery residency at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando, Florida, June 2007. Dr.
Charron is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Surgeons.
